Buenos Aires

Flamboyant and passionate, Buenos Aires is a city that gets under your skin. Only in Argentina’s magnetic capital do people spontaneously burst into tango in the streets. It’s a place where the roar of the crowd from the Boca football stadium echoes across the rooftops of the colonial buildings, and the smells of steaks fresh from the Pampas pasturelands waft along the avenues. Buenos Aires has a big personality, and an even bigger heart. It’s a city full of the joys of life.

Buenos Aires exudes a unique blend of Europe and South America, bringing the best of both to a city nicknamed ‘The Paris of South America’. One in three Argentinians lives here, creating a metropolis where different cultures, styles, and interests abound. The city’s architecture is eye-popping. From grand neoclassical buildings to edgy modern creations, there is a medley of styles.

Art abounds here too, with dance, song, and creative writing flowing from every neighborhood, or barrio. Visit the world renowned Colón Opera House, feel the passion as you learn to tango, or join the loyal fans cheering on some of the world’s top polo players at a heart-pumping match. And don’t forget the incredible food – and equally incredible wines. If your clients are looking to venture out of the city, Oyikil Travel can arrange a day trip to the picturesque Delta rivers, or a day spent at an Argentine estancia (ranch). Both are a wonderful way to enjoy the nature, history and traditions of this beautiful country and its people.
